Coolmax®
is a Invista registered trademark used under licence by ADVANSA
in Europe, Middle East and Africa for certified performance fabrics,
including socks, seamless garments and accessories, containing
proprietary fibres made only by ADVANSA and may
contain other companion fibres.All fabrics must be tested and
certified by ADVANSA before being marketed to
the trade as Coolmax® performance fabric.
Coolmax® fabrics are categorized by performance level:
PERFORMANCE & CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS
All fabrics must have a premium hand and appearance judged to
be consistent with ADVANSA quality standards
for certified performance fabrics. Fibre types will be verified
at the discretion of ADVANSA (i.e., random audit).
The presence of other type of fibre in the fabrics is subject
to ADVANSA approval and may only be approved
if, in ADVANSA’s judgement, that presence
is required to achieve an aesthetic or functional attribute. Testing
methods can be either AATCC or ISO standards.
